Over a decade of experience as a senior executive in UK regulatory bodies, operating at executive and board-facing level in high-scrutiny environments, I've seen the foundational significance of professional ethical identity. Now, I explore how to deepen and sustain the coherence between identity, agency, judgement and impact. I've been accountable for enforcement, compliance, data, digital, registration, policy and external communications, amongst other functions. I've acted as a public spokesperson on policy, enforcement and regulatory decisions, often in politically and media-sensitive contexts, and made multiple appearances before parliamentary committees, at conferences and at panel events.​ ​ At times I struggled to reconcile my personal ethical identity with decisions I needed to make. At times I felt like my head was spinning from all the tasks and risks I was managing. At times I came very close to walking away. ​ From this, the Raw Identity Model was created. A model that puts ethical identity at the heart of leadership within organisations and systems. That builds towards meaningful, sustainable impact and change. ​ ​Now I am making this model available to everyone. From intensive programmes to support navigating transitions, to short courses and ongoing identity partnerships, my vision is a cadre of leaders who put their ethical identity at the heart of how they lead.
